Hi everyone, my name is Tiny Tina and I found myself in a scary place called a shelter and when they came to get me from the cage I trembled with fear, only to find two loving arms from SMRS who was there to retrieve me. I was one lucky little girl. I had an advanced case of Demodex Mange which had not been taken care of by my owner. I have now started my treatment for the Demodex with a specialist and my hair has started to grow back.
I am as smart as a whip and have already learned to sit, lay down and rollover for one of those delicious treats, but I will not come when called, in fact I run the other way so I will definitely need a very secure fenced yard in my new home. I am crate trained, potty trained under a watchful eye and numerous potty breaks during the day. I am well on my way to being house trained and I just need someone who is willing to continue my training. I do walk well on a leash, but care should be taken to make sure I do not get away because I will run. I currently live in a home with dogs who range from 3 lbs to 25lbs and get along with everyone. I do enjoy children, but would be best suited for older children because of my size.
I am a very active girl who loves to play with toys and play chase with my dog friends, but I will take a nap on your lap when I am tuckered out. I would love to be placed in a home with another playful fur friend and someone who is home most of the day.
