I was surrendered by my owner when they were not able to care for me any longer. I was taken directly to the SMRS Vet where I received care for UTI and I have undergone palate as well as Entropion surgery. I am now as new as a shiny penny and ready to search for my very own loving home.
I am best friends with the 8 yr old girl in my foster home and I join the family each day in the car to make sure she arrives safely at school. My days are spent lounging in my dog bed while my foster mom works from home and I wait the return of my skin friend. I am crate trained, but it is not my favorite place to be and I am a bit of an escape artist as I have mastered how to open the door. I do fine in my crate for short periods and I would be happiest in a home with someone home most of the day. I do not have any furry friends in my foster home, but my foster mom wants you to know when we visit the Vet office I show no interest in the other dogs that I see.
I would fit perfectly with a retired couple, stay at home mom a person who works from home, any of the above would be the perfect home setting for me. I am potty trained and do well when allowed potty breaks during the day. My daily to do list includes following my foster mom around the home, receiving belly rubs, hugs and I am now learning the joy of playing with toys. Now, I want you to know I am not a selfish type girl, I will happily give back the love I receive and I promise to give you unlimited kisses daily.
